The French don't have a phrase to express that amorphous sentiment. Their basic salutation, bon jour, already means good day.

To say "it is good" in Cajun French, you can say "c'est bon."

I learn my French from Google is translated "j'apprends mon français par Google" in French. (not a good idea in my opinion - better go onto the radio-france websites)
