The answer to How many atoms are in 4NaOCl is 12 because there is one of each atom but when you put the 4 in front you need to multiply how many atoms there are. There are 1Na 1O 1Cl but when you times it by 4 you get four for each of them.

Who said that everything is made out of atom?

Many scientists believe that everything is made of atoms.

Why cant the kinetic energy of all the atoms in an object be measured?

because they are so small and objects contain so many of them, it is impossible to measure the kinetic energy of all the individual atoms

What are the atoms that are in CH3COOH?

This molecule contain: 2 carbon atoms, 4 hydrogen atoms, 2 oxygen atoms.

What are donor atoms and accepter atoms?

Donor atoms are those impurity atoms in a semiconductor material that give free electons to the material, for example a 5-valent atom in a semiconductor consisting of 4-valent atoms. Acceptor atoms are 3-valent atoms in a 4-valent semiconductor, so an acceptor atom can "accept" an electron from the surrounding atoms what leaves a free "hole" . Free electrons (from donor atoms) and free holes (from acceptor atoms) make the semiconductor conduct electricity.

What does an atom do?

An atom moves, in three ways: translational, rotational, and vibrational. Atoms usually combine with other atoms, of the same or different elemental type, into different forms of matter. Every atom has a nucleus, or center, of some number of protons and neutrons. The atom also has a number of electrons, which can be viewed as orbiting the nucleus. Even when atoms are combined into molecules, they move, as least by vibrating within the molecule. Many nonmetal atoms combine, by sharing electrons, into molecules, building blocks of many kinds of matter. Some nonmetal atoms, such as atoms of the "noble gases" helium and neon, can exist uncombined. When metals and nonmetals combine, gaining or losing electrons, they form solids called ionic crystals. Salt is an example. Atoms of metal elements can combine with each other into metallic solids.Atoms make up all matter. They can also cause explosions.
