Support aircraft (Transports): C-123, C-130, C-5 Galaxy. BOMBERS: B-57 Canberra, B-52 Stratofortress Bombers. The US Navy/Marine Corps flew: A-1 Skyraider (Propeller driven), A-4 Skyhawk (type flown by Presidential Candidate McCain), A-6 Intruder (Film: "Flight of the Intruder), A-7 Corsair II, F-8 Crusader (The history channel's "Dog-Fight" series, THE LAST GUNFIGHTER), and the F-4 Phantom II (the last "Ace's" of the 20th Century). The US Army flew: Cobra Attack Helicopter (US's FIRST designed/built ATTACK helicopter to enter combat), UH-1 Huey helicopter, CH-47 transport helicopter, LOH Cayuse, and Kiowa scout choppers. US Army/US Marines Ground Units: M-48 Patton tanks, M-551 Sheridan tanks, M-113 APC/ACAV (Armored Personnel Carriers/Armored Cavalry Assault Vehicles), 155mm , 8", and 175mm Self Propelled Guns (SP's), towed artillery-105mm, 155mm; 106mm & 90mm Recoilless Rifles, 60mm, 81mm & 4.2" mortars. INFANTRY WEAPONS: M-14 rifles, M-16 rifles, M-60 machinguns, M-79 grenade launchers, M-203 combination rifle/grenade launcher, M-72 LAW (66mm Anti-Armor Weapon); hand grenades (smooth pineapple and Baseball styles), claymore anti-personnel land mines, Colt .45 pistol, M-3 submachineguns (grease guns), .50 Browning Heavy Machineguns. The US Navy Riverine Forces (Brown Water Navy): Swift Boats (PCF-Patrol Craft Fast-all aluminum construction), PBR's (Patrol Boat River-all fiberglass construction), Alpha Boats (ASPB's-Assault Support Patrol Boats-all steel construction), MONITORs (Riverine Battleships).
