Actually, Capone was a product of the ridiculous passing of the 18th Amendment. He was a petty crook but took full advantage of the circumstances presented him. Was he bad.....probably no more than Joseph Kennedy and others of that era. Capone also set up soup kitchens in many Chicago neighborhoods during the outset of the Great Depression.
