During the Holocaust, approximately 6 million Jews were systematically murdered by the Nazi regime, but many others fled Europe to escape persecution. It is estimated that around 1.5 million Jews managed to escape before and during World War II, seeking refuge in countries such as the United States, Britain, and Palestine. Additionally, other targeted groups, including Romani people, political dissidents, and homosexuals, also fled, though exact numbers for these groups are less well-documented. Overall, while millions were killed, a significant number sought to escape the horrors of the Holocaust.
The killings stopped when the camps were liberated by the Allies. In many cases the SS fled as the Allies approached and left the camps.
I wonder if you are confusing the Holocaust with World War 2? Raul Hilberg estimates the total number of Germans killed in the Holocaust as at most 300.
Yes, many people tried to survive the Holocaust.
There was no medal for surviving the Holocaust.
1932? The Holocaust hadn't started then.

Many people were separated in the Holocaust, which made most people lose their will to keep going.
There were many groups of people not part of the holocaust, such as young children who weren't jews, elderly people who were jews, gypsies or disabled. But a part from that many people were! :(
Are you implying that the disabled didn't exist before the holocaust?
Around 30 ed's were killed in the holocaust
I don't think there is anything called the 'Iran Holocaust'.
There was no Russian Holocaust, presumably you mean the Holodomor.
Not very many people survived. Nobody knows the exact number but about, 1 in 10 survived which is an estimated.___Less then 1% of the people survived the Holocaust.___One of the problems is that there is no agreed definition of Holocaust survivor. However, please see the related question, which gives a figure of about 200,000.Approximately 3,546,211 people survived the holocaust if one is referring to the number of Jews. The actual number of people cannot be accounted for in that case.
