No one knows or can say for certain how many people actually survived the attacks on the towers. After the first plane struck the South Tower (the second tower hit), only 14 people below the impact and 4 above were able to escape. Most were told to return to their offices and wait for assistance. A total of 23 people were rescued from the rubble after the towers collapsed. There were many more who survived the collapse, but were unrecoverable before they died from their injuries.
What is known from Port Authority records of the turnstile counters below the Towers is that an average of 14,154 people were working in the Towers at the time they were struck.
There is no true way to tell how many people survived the 9/11 attacks. Over 3,000 people were killed.
There were a total of 2,996 deaths during the September 11th attacks. This includes those in the towers, on the ground and in the planes during the crashes.
because they hated America
Around 3,000 people survived the twin towers crashing from what I heard. Actually its 2,995 people from the twin towers and additional 100 from the other 2 planes that hit the pentagon and that almost hit the white house. What i mean by almost is that the people figured out that the plane was hijacked and they stopped the plane but they hit a feil. Nobody on any of the planes survived.
No it wasnt ok on September 11. Alot of innocent people were killed on that day. It was so sad for all people, but I dont know why those people that destoryed the twin towers for a reason. But we never did nothing to them. I think the people that destoryed the twin towers were mean, stupid, and were idots for destoying the innocent people!Well, if you need to ask this question, you have neither witnessed it nor seen it on television. The September 11 attacks were atrocities that murdered many innocent people. These acts were not justified. It was different from all other acts of terrorism because America, as a whole, watched in horror as other Americans died live on television before their eyes. We don't know to this day what could have been done to ameliorate the problem, but we do know that these attacks were absolutely unnecessary and definitely "not okay."
No one from the planes, but about 3,000 from the buildings.

2,063 Support our troops and remember the rebel flag
Somewhat of a loaded question since technically the entire population of the United States minus 2,977 people survived the attacks by either escaping the buildings or simply being nowhere in the area.
2,603 at the Towers. Almost 3,000 total in all the attacks (Including the 19 hijackers). Please read the related link below for casualties for 9-11-01 attacks.2,667 people died in both towers of the World Trade Center, not counting the 156 people on board both of the aircraft that crashed into the towers. Of the 2,667, 343 firefighters were killed.
There were no survivors.
Many people think that the terrorist attacks on the twin towers was fixed. It was not. The attacks were a random act that was plotted and instrumented by terrorists that do not like America.
About 2,800 people died.
