Somewhat of a loaded question since technically the entire population of the United States minus 2,977 people survived the attacks by either escaping the buildings or simply being nowhere in the area.
They were alive like aprox like 100 because many people died alot. If you think there were more people alive that means you are wrong okkk
Officially, as of July 2008, the death toll currently stands at 2,751 Victims, although it will most certainly increase as time goes on. While the majority of victims were killed that day, many others have died in the years after the attacks, mainly those in New York that day who have developed serious lung problems from the toxic dust inhaled from the World Trade Center collapse. Others have been diagnosed and continue to fight on, but for some it's only a matter of time.
If a car is following you while walking, it is important to stay calm and assess the situation. Try to change your route or go to a public place with people around. If you feel threatened, call 911 or seek help from a nearby store or residence. Trust your instincts and prioritize your safety.
The murder rate in Canada is relatively low compared to other countries. Specifically, their murder rate is 1.82 people out of 100,000. To put that in perspective, the US murder rate is 4.8 per 100,000.
The income varies dramatically depending on which part of the country you live in. I can speak for the West Virginia area... at the more populated counties (Kanawha, Putnam, Cabell, Mon) comm centers the hourly rate varies from about $11-14 for a new dispatcher. With a lot of overtime, it is easy to make around $40k annually. A lot of the smaller counties pay much less, around $7-8/hr. In Tampa, it depends on your level. A starting dispatcher would be called a communications tech 1. There pay grade is a little lower, but it start out around $12 an hour. Once you get off of probation, and get your first promotion, you will go up to around $15. If you become a trainer, your pay will jump up again. Also, each year you get two raises. One is a cost of living raise, and the other is a merit raise. The merit raise is based off of your annual evaluation.
