She was married to the King for less than two years before he had her executed for treason on the grounds of adultery whilst married to the reigning monarch (in those days, this was a treasonable offence). So she may have died when she was as young as just 17 years old. She is buried in an unmarked grave in the grounds of the chapel of St.Peter ad Vincula, the official chapel of the Tower of London- the King did not even bother to attend her funeral.
