The dravidians were descendants of Elam they are a branch of the Elamites, and theyruled Sumer in Southern Iraq ans well as South west Iran They are a dark middle eastern people who are not semitic or speaking a semitic language! Yes there seems to be a issue with skin color PLEASE GET OVER THIS! as many people from the middle east are dark as well. You will find traces of these people in the gulf Yemen saudia Arabia and North Africa being dark does not mean you are from Africa it has to do with the features of ones face and if you see some southern Indian people yes some are very dark and some have beautiful brown skin but their physical look is usually a very straight nose straight to wavy and sometimes curly! the afro asiatic people are different in their appearance and you can tell the two apart based on facial features! As far as the Indo Aryans they come from the son of Noah PBH Japeth just like the europeans and asians! they have been classified as indo European by white scientists but hey are know as Japethic people if you look very close at these people yes they do have fair skin but the features are different then the Persian abd Arabs. Yes during the time when the Arab Muslims came to Persia there were some Persians from Baluchastan who were not Muslim migrated to the area that is true. some does not mean all! the punjabis have a sikhHINDU) culture Sikhs were originally hindus! both the Punjabi and Hindi languages come from sanskrit. So again being brown or dark has nooooooo bearing on anything.

Are all South Indians Dravidians?

However, more specifically, Dravidian peoples are those whose native language belongs to the Dravidian language family. The majority of South Indians do speak a Dravidian language, however many others speak a language belonging to the Munda language family instead and thus they are not, in this sense, "Dravidian."
