What is the catholic churchs opinion on helping others?

The Catholic Church based on the teachings of Jesus believes in loving God above all else. But in order to love God Catholics believe based on Jesus' teachings, that to love God they must love all of Gods creation, especially human-beings which are sacred. So the Catholic Church says that we must help others by putting ourselves last and serving all people no matter the race or religion, and by doing so Catholics do it for the love God.

What are some economic problems in the Protestant Reformation?

"All the causes" would fill a whole library. The word 'reformation' indicates that we are talking about the efforts of (at the time) Roman Catholic priests and scholars to reform the ills of the Roman Catholic church from within. Those ills differed depending on who was complaining: Luther alone had 95 issues he wanted to have reformed within the Church. Things to be reformed that were most often mentioned: the enormous riches of bishops and convents; scandalous private lives of bishops and priests; the interpretation given by the Church to Bible texts and the validity of the doctrines of the Church itself.

When did the Protestant Reformation begin in Europe and England?

The Protestant Reformation began because Martin Luther thought and believed that the Roman Catholic church was abusing its powers over its followers. It truly began when Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to a church door. These Theses attacked the doctrines, practices, and authority of the church. Because of the Protestant Reformation, the Counter-Reformation started.
