Yes, America (or the United States, commonly referred to as America) is a great country to live in! For starters, the US is the 3rd most developed nation on the planet, as stated by the UN. Also, the US has the largest economy in the world and the 7th largest GDP per capita (income per person). Weather-wise, the country differs drastically as you go from place to place. If you like cold winters/hot summers, the East/Midwest would be a great place. If you like mild winters/hot summers, the West would be a great place. Also, the US is the only superpower, meaning it is the world's most powerful nation. Lastly, the US is highly industrialized (one of the most in the world), so if you do not like capitalism, industry, etc. and like agriculturalism or socialism, then this country is not the best for you.

However there a few bad points to the US. For example, it has a generally high unemployment rate, as so does most of the Western World due to the economic collapses; there are major signs of improvement though, for example the US unemployment rate is the lowest it has been in about 2 years, and the economy has been picking up pretty fast due to Europe talks. Also, the US is a minor somewhat corrupted country, but it is the 15th least corrupted country in the world (or 181st most corrupted country), however this is not all bad seeing how it is not at all high. Lastly, a bad point would be capitalism; the rich get rich while the poor get poorer.
