basically, before the 19th century Poland owned a big part of europe including Ukraine however, there started to be some conflicts between the nobles which weakened the country, the queen of Russia realized the situation is a great one to invade poland . They invaded the country and kept it untill 1989 , now poland is a free country and is trying to get all its wealth back.
