The original novel is written in Swedish. The English translation is quite popular, and is widely available in both paper and e-book format.

As for the movie goes, the Swedish film received very high acclaims and as a result, versions with English subtitles are widely available. But it is not as popular as the Hollywoods hits so your best bet is digital distribution services such as iTunes, Amazon and Netflix.

There is also an American interpretation of the book/movie titled "Let me in"

Some plot details are different from the Swedish original to be more appropriate for the American setting, but most of the story stays quite the same.

The American film is criticized for resembling the Swedish version a bit too much, but the makers cannot be really blamed because the author of the original novel took part in writing of the screenplay for both film adaptations.
