No, the idea that several teenagers could fight off trained invaders is appallingly ridiculous. Soldiers are NOT incompetent and normal teenagers who suddenly possess soldier-like qualities are very unrealistic. If Australia was invaded, it certainly would not happen in this way. First and foremost, an army would not easily allow a bunch of rebels to go around causing trouble. The first thing that would happen would be a massive sweep of the town to find the rebels and kill them before they could begin to free their town.
