he was very wrong he should have dropped it on just the government.
Harry S. Truman
Truman decided that America should drop the Atomic bombs in Nagasaki and Hiroshima because the physical fighting of the 2 nations would have resulted in a greater loss of life for both Japan and the US.
Truman did not grant permission to MacArthur to invade North Korea for it would aggravate China and get the United States into an even longer war within Asia. Many members of the UN had also pressured the United States to not further its involvement in Korea which furthered Truman to disallow MacArthur to invade North Korea.
The use of the bomb was necessary. Japan was getting overconfident in their abilities after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. If Truman did not drop the atomic bomb, many more people would have been killed as a result of the ensuing battle. I do believe that the effects of the atomic bomb on human lives and the fallout mean that the atomic bomb should only ever be used in the most dire of circumstances to save more lives than it ends. Hope this helps, PAW
I believe it was the president, Harry S. Truman
That was not a question he had to deal with. After Nagasaki, we had no more atomic bombs, and wouldn't have had for several months at the earliest. But after Nagasaki, Japan surrendered, so that problem disappeared.
Most people doesn't think so.

President Truman and Douglas MacArthur disagreed about whether or not the US should use nuclear weapons against China. China had said they would support North Korea in the war. Truman relieved MacArthur of his command in 1951.
this can be different to anybody and everybody, but gods "backbone" law should be in a nutshell be true to yourself and others, dont be anything your not and dont be anything anybody tells you! you, yourself are you're own person. whatever you think god is or is telling you, is one hundred percent correct...anybody disagree?
Perhaps you should not be so quick to disagree. I disagree with your hypothesis.
Most people think so. Even the Japanese were grateful for the bomb because they were so tired of the war. President Truman believed the bomb will end the war sooner and save a lot of lives.

Truman Doctrine: America should interfere to prevent communism. It's obvious: should America, or should they not, interfere with other countries' affairs?
