Slavery has ended and is now illegal in most parts of the world however, some people who worked to put and end to slavery: Anna Eleanor Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, and George Washington that believed it was against god's will to judge people by their race and colour.

People who worked to outlaw slavery were called abolitionists. They were dedicated to advocating for the emancipation and rights of enslaved individuals through various means, such as social movements, political lobbying, and education.
Those who believed that slavery was bad were called abolitionists. They advocated for the abolition of slavery and worked towards achieving equal rights for all individuals.

There was not that much urban slavery because urban people worked in factories where slaves were not need as compared to rural where they used slavery a lot because they worked on the farms and needed help
The Quakers were one of the first religious groups to actively oppose slavery. They believed in the equality of all people and were leaders in the abolitionist movement. Quakers denounced slavery as immoral and worked towards its abolition through various means, such as organizing protests, aiding escaped slaves, and lobbying for legal change.
