No,but they both came for religious reasons. The reason they are not the same people is because the puritons were rich and the pilgrams were not rich.
I would draw a Venn diagram and list the differences between them and what is the same. Then, I would put that in 3 paragraphs showing the difference between them.

Both Pilgrims and Puritans were Protestant religious groups who originated in England. They both sought religious freedom and established colonies in the New World. While they shared similar beliefs and values, the Pilgrims were a specific group seeking to separate from the Church of England, while the Puritans aimed to purify the church from within.
Yes. They were the same people. Their religion was Puritan.

No they are not because puritans wanted to perfect Christianity and the separatists were lots of people from a different religions.
Pilgrims are people who journey to a sacred place for religious reasons. Usually "the Pilgrims" refers to Puritans who left England and came to American to get away from the Anglicans and practice their nonconformist religion (as it was seen by the Anglicans). Both the Anglicans and the Pilgrims were protestants, they just disagreed with each other. The Jesuits, on the other hand, were a religious Order in the Catholic Church. They were definitely not the same thing.
