  • It could have been the 414 punitive clauses leveled against Germany of the 440 total clauses of the Treaty of Versailles.
  • It could have been the collapse of the German economy on the heals of the crash of Wall Street.
  • It could have been Germany's loss of WW1.
  • It could have been father issues.
  • It could have been mother issues.
  • It could have been his relative failure as an artist.
  • It could have been his brief period of homelessness.
  • It could have been lack of romantic success (at least before he had the benefit of the aphrodisiac the office of Chancellor gave him).
  • It could have been due to the early general struggles of his political party.
  • It could be something no one even knows of.

There is no doubt that Hitler had some unresolved anger, but it would be simplistic to put all the evils of the Nazi party on the head of one man, or by any means on a single emotion.
