yes, Margaret thatcher was a evacuee
Margaret Thatcher was still at school during World War 2
Mostly the same as the rest of the population. Food was rationed and children had their own ration books. Some evacuee children were in the countryside and were able to have things like fresh eggs and vegetables that may not have been available to other people.
Evacuee was the label the Ministry of Health designated for the kids who were evacuated to the country. They sent them there to avoid the dangerous bombing during the Blitz. There were also adults with small children, elderly people and disabled people who were evacuees.
unfortunatly after the war (as you are aware) there were a lot of deaths. many of whom would have been of the parents of the evacuated. also with so many burnt and demolished buildigs, fires and ash not only would this have been a horrific sight for the young children, but they would have no where to live and so they where better off living as an evacuee, than and orphaned homeless child. hope this helped :)

An evacuee is a person that got evacuted from a place e.g. London and taken to the countryside
Margaret Thatcher faced several significant challenges during her time as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Her economic policies, including austerity measures and privatization, led to widespread unemployment and social unrest, particularly in industrial regions. Additionally, she dealt with opposition from within her own party and rising tensions in Northern Ireland, exemplified by the hunger strikes. Internationally, she confronted the complexities of the Cold War, the Falklands War, and managing relationships with other world leaders.
Hellish absolutely Hellish. English evacuee's everywhere, bombing raids at night. As I said before absolutely hellish
Evacuee surnames refer to the last names of individuals who were displaced or evacuated from their homes due to emergencies, conflicts, or natural disasters. These names are often recorded for identification and assistance purposes during and after the evacuation process. In historical contexts, such as during World War II, evacuee surnames also hold significance in understanding the demographics of displaced populations.
