The tanks were redistributed amongst the allies and many damaged ones were recycled. Believe it or not some were converted to art. I just saw a picture of one converted to art. This is an excerpt from an article which explains more.
The Treaty of Versailles meant disarmament of Germany which is a major ego blow to its people. Also, Germany reacted very badly to it in the beginning until the left wing of their country was convinced that they had no other choice. For the Treaty to be effective, several payments were to be made by the German government which would handicap their economic reconstruction. In addition, Germany's military power was cut only to 100,000 soldiers and the nation was not allowed more than that. It meant that Germany lost control over war aircraft, submarines and battle tanks. The allies redistributed all the German tanks and war weapons among themselves and it left Germany raped of its dignity.About Author:

many counrtys didn't want or didn't help Germany recover. The treaty of Versailles limited germanys army, took all of germanys empire and made Germany pay a massive amount of money to France and belguim. This is why Germany was the hardest hit during the great despression. This economic loss is a big reason for the start of ww2.
Well, Germany did start it but they conclude that its is unfair that it is all their fault. They claim that all who participated should take the blame also, not all on them. Your welcome =) The question confuses the two world wars ... The question does not confuse the two world wars. It links them.
You could try reading books. In case you are not aware of them, they are interesting things which quite often contain reasoned argument and lots of detail. There are also books available that help with spelling words like 'quote' correctly, and where the town of Versailles will be given with a capital letter and the 's' at the end, and The Treaty of Versailles likewise will have capitals. Sorry to sound off, but the number of students now of all ages who think books are obsolete astounds and horrifies me.
Treaty of Paris
By the Treaty of Tordesillas, Spain had authority to exploit all of the North and South America except Brazil. The Treaty of Tordesilla's was signed in 1494.
North Carolina did not belong to the group of fierce opposers to the Treaty of Versailles called 'the Irreconcillables', but practically all states wanted modifications, especially on the subject of the creation of the Leage of Nations.

it is the treaty of all the treaty'smuwahahahahahaha
The Treaty of Versailles. It stated that Germany only keep a standing army of 100,000 troops. They had to destroy all their tanks and hand over all of their U-Boats(submarines). They also had to pay reparations for "causing" WWI when they didn't cause the war(Serbian rebels did). Thats what fueld German anger. What fueled Allied anger was them not following the rules stated in the Treaty of Versailles. -Azumith Smith
