The above is certainly with merit. However, taking the view that a tourist would want to see the most outstanding people of ancient Rome, my opinion here is of course subjective. My list however would have to include Julius Caesar, Augustus Caesar and the Emperor Diocletion who's reforms kept the empire going for many more years than anyone might have expected.
