The sci-fi series Star Trek was first broadcast on Polish television on March 13, 1990. The original series, which premiered in the United States in 1966, gained popularity in Poland during the late 1980s and early 1990s as part of a broader interest in Western media. This broadcast marked the beginning of the franchise's presence in Poland.
The Soviet Union became an Allied country when it was invaded by Germany on June 22, 1941. Germany and Italy declared war on the US on December 11, 1941; three days after the US declaration of war against their ally Japan. However, the Soviet Union did not move against Japan until near the end of the war, and only then because the US required it in return for Soviet territorial demands in Eastern Europe.

Parker's portrayal of Boone became one of his most famous roles, further establishing him as a prominent figure in American pop culture.
On May 22, 1966, Bill Cosby became the first African-American actor to win the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. He won for his performances during the 1965-1966 season as pro tennis trainer/American espionage agent Alexander Scott in NBC's "I Spy." Cosby, who was the first black actor to become a primary regular on a weekly dramatic series, won the award for the 1966-1967 and 1967-1968 seasons as well.
NU Pogodi is a Soviet/Russian animated series. The series was created in 1969 and became a popular cartoon of the Soviet Union. The series ended in October of 2006.

La La Land is an American television comedy series broadcast on Showtime in the United States. It is also broadcast on BBC Three in the United Kingdom, and SBS One in Australia.
The sitcom Roseanne was broadcast on tv from 18th October, 1988 to 20th May, 1997. The sitcom was about a working class family from Illinois, who was called the Corners. It later became very popular TV series in America.
It was filmed, and broadcast, in many different years. Series 4 (of the new series) was broadcast mainly in 2008; I am not entirely sure whether they were filmed in the same year.
In 2006 the first series of Torchwood was broadcast on BBC3 and BBC HD. In 2008, the second series was broadcast on BBC2 and BBC HD. In 2009, the third series (Children of Earth) was broadcast on BBC 1. It was also shown on other channels in Australia, America and Canada. In 2011, the fourth series (Miracle Day) was broadcast on BBC1 and BBC HD along with Starz in the USA. The future and possibility of another series is currently unconfirmed.
