Martin Luther King Jr. (January 15, 1929 - April 4, 1968) was very famous for standing out against racism in the early to mid 1900s. He gave the "I Have a Dream" speech which was basically a speech that proclaimed that he wished badly that people would look beyond skin color, where whites and blacks could have have equal freedoms. He was known as a "Civil Rights Activivst." He won the Nobile Peace Prize in 1964. He was so against racial segregation. America Still Respects Him Greatly.
