There were many dates during Islam's golden age, it would take way too long to list all of them. This I will leave to you to go and discover.
The Islamic golden age is credited with 1001 inventions! Among them are things we take for granted every day and you will never believe they were invented by Muslims. Hospitals, Universities, even the first camera (amazing right? Read up on "Alhzen", or Ibn Al-Hayatham who is known as the father of optics) to name a few. Perhaps one of the best known inventions of the Islamic golden age is the creation of Al-Jabr, commonly known in the west as Algebra. Al-Jabr, in Arabic, means "restoration", or solving for unknowns.
There are hundreds of others and I hope you will take the time to learn of them. Good luck and thanks for asking such a great question.
Ibn Firnas, the 9th-century Andalusian polymath, is often credited with early advancements in glassmaking, but he did not invent glass itself. Instead, he is known for his experiments with various materials and his attempts to create artificial gemstones. His contributions to the development of glass and other materials occurred during the Islamic Golden Age, around the 9th century, but specific dates for his achievements are not clearly documented.

We do not have the exact dates, but it appears that the earliest conversions, usually of Ghanian leaders, occurred in the mid-800s C.E., and Islam became a dominant religion in the Ghana Empire by the mid-900s C.E.
lots of very, very, very, very uberly awesome dates
Dear friend, the religion is called Islam (which means surrender to the will of God). And the followers of Islam are called Muslims (meaning servant of God). If you consider this, then the first man to be created - Prophet Adam (may peace be upon him) was also a Muslim. So were many other prophets and civilizations. Hence, Islam dates back to the creation of man or maybe even before that. Some of the other well known prophets of Islam are: Prophet Noah, Prophet Abraham, Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus (may peace be upon all of them). They all were Muslims. The last and final prophet of Islam was Prophet Mohammad (may peace be on him). He conveyed the teachings of Islam to the people between the 6th and 7th century. It was during his time that the religion of Islam was complete. Unfortunately people refer only to the people who followed Islam during and after our last Prophet (may peace be upon him) as Muslims.

The founder of Islam is Allah (God in English). Islam dates back to start of universe creation. Refer to related question below.
awan qoh! xD hahaha
By believing in Allah as the one God. You would be saved. All the religions in our world are based on worshiping a person or a statue (and sometimes something besides God) except Islam which is worshiping God (Allah) alone. Before Islam , Arabs were worshiping statues made of dates. They were hungry in the middle of the desert ,and instead of eating the dates they worshiped them thinking they will make them better people in the eyes of their God. Islam came to teach people to worship a glorious God ,but there is no need to worship any golden statue or any person besides him. It's just between you and Allah directly.
