The Nazi Germans used "self flying bombs" known as V2 rockets. There were two types actually. The second type they developed could fly into London and it was so quiet you could not tell where and when the rocket would land. These bombs were the precursors to the missiles we have now.
There were also the bombs dropped by the Luftwaffe (German Air Force) on the Royal Army Air Force locations, the seaports and cities.
They used nuclear and atomic bombs.
None. The blitz refers to bombs dropped on England, not Germany.
The blitz mainly happened at night so the British could not see the planes and rocket bombs coming.

Blitz bombs, used during the bombing campaigns of World War II, varied in weight depending on the type. Commonly, the most recognized bombs, like the German SC 250 and SC 500, weighed around 250 kg (550 lbs) and 500 kg (1,100 lbs) respectively. Additionally, incendiary bombs used during the Blitz could weigh as little as 1 kg (2.2 lbs) to several hundred kilograms. The weight and type of bomb used depended on the intended target and desired destruction.
