Tori is the plural of the word Torus. A torus is an outgrowth of bone commonly found in the mouth. A single torus is frequently found on the roof of the mouth at the midline (torus palatinus). Tori can also be found on each side of the lower jaw next to the tongue (torus mandibularis)in some individuals.Tori are usually anomalous (harmless variations). Occasionally, tori need to be removed by a surgeon because they interfere with the proper fit of a denture or other dental appliance. To see examples of large tori, click on the RELATED LINK below.

The condition can cause speech issues if they become too large. Other than being a complete pain in the butt, i don't think there is much that u can do about them, THIS IS NOT A FORM OF ORAL CANCER.

Mandibular torus, a bony growth on the mandible, is generally not a direct cause of snoring. However, if the torus is large enough to obstruct the airway or alter the position of the tongue, it could contribute to snoring. Other factors, such as nasal congestion or obesity, are more common causes of snoring. Consulting a healthcare professional can help determine the specific cause in individual cases.
