Alexander tried to establish Hellenic culture by establishing Greek-model cities throughout his conquests.

He also absorbed Persians into his army and administration, took a Persian wife and arranged a mass marriage of Macedonians with Persian women.

Greek became the second lingua franca (of commerce) after Aramaic as the common language in the Asian territories.

However under his successors the empire shrunk dramatically in Asia, and the thin veneer of Hellenisation disappeared in those areas. Remaining areas - called the Hellenistic Kingdoms - were set up by Alexander's successors (his generals) in mainland Greece, Asia Minor, Syria-Mespotamia and Egypt. These were eventually absorbed into the Roman Empire.

Alexander had a dream to impose Greek culture on the varied peoples of his new empire. It was mostly superficial, limited to the upper class, and it did not sink down to the middle and lower classes. It was eventually mainly replaced by Arabic/Islamic culture.

How did the conquests of the Alexander the great changed the cultures of the conquered lands?

Alexander tried to introduce Greek culture which he regarded as 'civilising', establishing over 70 Greek-style cities to help this process (modestly naming them Alexandria after himself). His early death interrupted the process. His general who succeeded him established their own kingdoms (the Hellenistic kingdoms) from his empire. Their effect was to bring the upper classes into line, but the masses kept their own culture.

How did Alexander the greats conquests lead to the development of a new culture?

Alexander was of the HELLENIC culture, that is Greek culture. When he conquered Egypt, the Persian Empire, and parts of the Indian sub-continent, he did not just bring soldiers, he brought Greek culture as well so what happened was the cultures of Egypt and Greece, Persia and Greece, and the Indina states he conquered and Greece, fused together to become what is now known as HELLENISTIC culture. This was one of Alexander's agenda, to create a new society of Greco-Egyptians, Greco-Persians and Greco-Indians. When Alexander died and the Empire divided by his generals, Hellenistic culture reached it's peak. Many Hellenistic kingdoms emerged, Ptolemic Egypt, The Selucid Empire, the Greco-Bactrian kingdoms on where Afghanistan is now, Indian states with Greek influences and many more. This Hellenistic culture endured until around when Agustus, Emperor of Rome, conquered Egypt and the Parthians, or Sassanids (I forgot which one) conquered the former Persian Empire under the Greeks
