I have never read of any damage on the Mayflower. It did get blown off course and that is how they ended up in Plymouth and some months later it did return to England with Capt and crew. I know the Pilgrims lived on the Mayflower while they looked for a place to settle and while they were building the colony.

Yes, there were several problems on the Mayflower. The ship was overcrowded with around 102 passengers, leading to unsanitary conditions and limited space. There were also storms that damaged the ship, causing leaks and making the journey more difficult. Additionally, there was tension and disagreement among the passengers, which resulted in the formulation of the Mayflower Compact to establish order and unity.
The Mayflower returned to England in April 1621 after delivering its passengers, who were the Pilgrims seeking religious freedom in the New World. The ship was initially intended to transport goods back to England, but it was also damaged during its time in America and needed repairs. Additionally, there was a shortage of supplies and the crew needed to return. Ultimately, the Mayflower's return marked the end of its historic voyage.
