John Adams did not live in a mansion in Versailles; however, he did visit the Palace of Versailles during his time as an ambassador to France. The palace is renowned for its grandeur and historical significance but was not a residence for Adams. Instead, he stayed in Paris and other locations while representing the United States in France.
