I'm not sure which stars you are referring to. Perhaps you mean what's often called the "Jewish star," which is also know as the "Star of David." It is a six-pointed star. You might also be referring to the stars that Jews had to wear during the Holocaust. These were six-pointed Stars of David. They were often yellow, depending on the time and place. Some had the word for "Jew" (in the language of the country they were in) written on the star. Jews, and those the Nazis considered to be Jews, had to attach these stars to their clothing.
