Answer to what the Spanish ExlorersAccording to what I look like. My ancestors were part of the early explorerers of the new world.

My family is very light skinned, with blonde green and brown eyes. Blonde hair that went dark brown to black with age and time.

Big eyes, a characterist trait of many Spaniards.

Some may have had darker skin but most would have been yellow, olive tinnged white skin.

Many of the early explorers were from navel shipping families with ties to the nobel houses of Spain. Some were prisoners.

Until my cousins generations mine that is our parents intermarried within the nationality and religion so all I have to do is look at our large clan to see what the early explorers would have looked like.

Basically go to the regions of Aragon and Galicia of Spain to get an idea of the explorers.

Many of the original explorers have ancestors still in many parts ot the new world. It is why New Mexico and the sw have a long line of Spanish names. here is a rendering of Coronado the explorer. He could be my uncle!
