Some were able to collect. The five present states of the "Old Northwest" - Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin were for a time referred to as the "Western Reserve", and the land was intended to be awarded to Continental soldiers as promised. To that end the surveying of the land began in 1796 in Ohio, a process that went on continuously until all the public land in the lower 48 was at last surveyed in the 1920s. This surveying, by "section" (one square mile) within townships, and "quarter sections" (160 acres, a square quarter of a mile) is the reason the map of the US from Ohio westward has such a regular, square appearance. Former soldiers were eligible to file their claim to these parcels in an amount of acreage depending on factors related to their service. There were also state land bounties, promised by the various states which had claims to western lands to stimulate enlistment, and perhaps more of these claims were made good, as the man had only to move west within his home state to get to that land. The western lands became a contentious and divisive issue during Washington's presidency, as Hamilton's faction wanted the states to cede their claims to western land to the Federal government, in return for which the Federal government would assume the debts the states had incurred to help finance the Revolution. But some states, such as Virginia, had already taxed their citizens and paid most of this debt, while other states had done nothing to pay their debts. So Virginia was asked to give up its sizable claim to western land, in return for paying debts already paid, and for the chance to tax its people some more to help pay the debts of states which had not bothered to even try to pay their own obligations. Moreover, some states, such as South Carolina, Delaware and New Jersey had no claims to any western lands, and so were not giving up anything in return for getting their debts paid. But Hamilton's faction wound up carrying the day, the lands were ceded to the Federal government, and the debts assumed. Some veterans of course never tried to take advantage of the promised land, because they did not want to move to where the land was being made available.
The Continental Army recruited soldiers through a combination of enlistment incentives, including bounties and land grants, appealing to patriotic sentiments, and leveraging local militias. To maintain soldiers, the army offered regular pay, provisions, and promises of continued service opportunities. Additionally, the army implemented measures to address desertion, such as improved living conditions and support for soldiers' families. These strategies helped sustain troop levels throughout the Revolutionary War.
offered pay to soldiers along with promises of homes, education, and "insurance"
I married into a Filipino family and have been researching family history with my children. What the relatives tell me is that Filipinos were not allowed to enlist as soldiers. My husband's grandfather, for example, enlisted as a cook. In exchange for enlisting, Filipinos were offered US citizenship and their veteran status made it easier for them to get civil service jobs in America. So, perhaps you will not find a list of soldiers. Check your assumptions.
There were 9 total soldiers. 5 in the north, why they won, and 4 in the south. This was after hours of research. Actually this would probably be the ratio of North to South if you actually look it up then you will find that there were millions of soldiers fighting in the Civil War
It offered them an education and training, home and business loans, unemployment pay, and job placement assistance.

Because they were offered freedom if they became patriot soldiers.
An enlisted soldier is a soldier of the U.S. Armed Forces entitled to all benefits offered by the Army and are sworn in to uphold a contract. Drafted soldiers did not get any benefits other than medical if they were injured in combat and they are technically not in the Armed Forces so they not have a right to any extra benefits and their pay is also significantly lower than enlisted men. Drafted soldiers would be the equivalent of what a security guard is in comparison to a cop....EDIT: The preceding answer is 100% untrue. Draftees are entitled to ALL the same benefits as enlisted men. The only small exception was that during the Vietnam conflict there were certain incentives offered for enlisting. But they were small incentives, such as more preferable assignments AFTER your tour of duty, when you came back to the US. As far as where you went and what you did during a war, no difference was made between enlisted and drafted. All of the financial and medical benefits are exactly the same as well. Socially, hardly any difference is ever made between the draftees and enlisted men during peacetime, and during wartime absolutely no difference is made between them. They fight and die side by side and are brothers, regardless of whether they signed up or were forced to serve. Whoever submitted the preceding answer is not only ignorant on the subject, he has very poor grammar skills. He should be ashamed of himself.

No. If you were offered an enlistment bonus when you enlisted, you file for it with the finance office in post once you've reported in to your first duty station. If you weren't, then there is no bonus.
