The North Vietnamese won!
Around 600,000 Vietnamese died in the Vietnam War. More Vietnamese died than Americans. That amazes me.
North Vietnam conquered South Vietnam and became one nation. The Republic of South Vietnam no longer exists.
Diem was assassinated in '63. Thieu evacuated when his country fell to the communists in '75.
When President Ford ordered the US Embassy in Saigon evacuated in April 1975.
