Magellan failed when he went on an expedition and didn't make it alive.
he traded with indians and sailed across the world
He wanted to know the western route to the Indies.
Ferdinand Magellan
There is no definitive evidence to support the claim that Ferdinand Magellan was gay. His personal life and relationships are not extensively documented, so it is difficult to make accurate assumptions about his sexuality. It is important to avoid making assumptions about historical figures without clear evidence.
