Polish Highlander (pol. Góral) is traditionally an inhabitant of mountainious villages/towns.

In today's Poland a highlander is an inhabitant of any human agglomeration (village < town < city) which is situated in a mountainious region or near one (50km long beam).

Most people recognize Polish Highlanders from Zakopane(a great touristic city - I would even dare to call it a Polish Mountanious mekka of tourists.)
