Bus section is a device is used to separating a bus into two. So if got any fault in right hand side just open the circuit breaker in the bus section and do maintenance without shut down the whole thing.
She got in the front of bus which was for the white people and the back of the bus was for the black people, so she got arrested. Some bus drivers even told her to get off the bus and go through the back door of the bus because they did not want her going through the aisle in the white section.
Rosa Parks recognized the bus driver, James Blake, as the same man who evicted her from a bus twelve years earlier when she walked through the "whites-only" section to get to her seat. At the time, African-Americans were only allowed to enter through the front bus door to pay their fare; they were then expected to get off the bus and re-enter through the back door. Parks walked down the center aisle.
The back section of the bus was for African American passengers. They couldn't enter the bus from the front doors and there was a sign showing which seats were for the African American passengers. In 1961 I went to the southern states with my parents on a trip and all sorts of things were labeled for black or whites. It ranged from the smallest things like drinking fountains to seats on a bus or in restaurants.
Rosa Parks was not sitting in the front of the bus. She was sitting in the back of the bus, in row 11, in the first row of seats of the "Black section." When the bus crowded with more Anglos and there were no more seats in the "White section" the bus driver told the African Americans in the first two rows of the "Black section" to move back to allow one Anglo male to sit down in two whole rows. After the bus drove off, Rosa Parks sat back down in the first two rows of seats in the "Black section." That was when the argument started which resulted in the arrest. There is a great one hour video about the Montgomery Bus Boycott that I show to my students every semester. HBO did the video with help from the American Southern Law & Poverty Institution, or something like that. You might find it on youtube.
Rosa Parks refused to change seats on a bus when her and one other person was on the bus. The law stated that she was to sit in the black section of the bus. When she refused she was arrested and fined 5.00 for breaking the law. King was a minister in a local church and he gave a speech on her arrest and it was decided that the African American community would boycott the buses. They did and for a year the boycott continued. The end result was the end to segregation on the bus system.
