In general, I would not recommend ANY rifle for hunting big game at ranges over 300 yards. The likelihood of a clean, humane kill at more than 300 yards in a hunting scenario is very, very small, especially on a large animal that requires accurate shot placement. Rifles (generally bolt action) in caliber 30-06 or larger are typically used for elk. PS- the kill zone for an elk is about the size of a small paper plate. If you can hit a small paper plate at over 300 yards EVERY shot, shooting from a hunting position, you are doing very well.
No. It is 100 yards. It is 300 feet.

25% because: 1200-900 = 300 300 x 100 = 30000 30000 divided by 1200 = 25%
The bows used by American Plains Indians could typically shoot arrows between 150 to 300 yards, depending on the bow's design and the strength of the archer. These longbows were crafted from materials like wood and sinew, allowing for significant power and accuracy. The effective range for hunting or combat was generally within 50 to 100 yards, where precision was crucial.
300 yards
at these ranges, the stability of the bullet is very important and i like a heavier round such as the .308. most smaller rounda are more fickle about the bullet/barrel combo The 243 Winchester is a awesome round to knock down small-medium game at 300 yards-plus as long as the rifle is equipped with a suitable scope. That's my opinion and experience.
If the area of the parallelogram is 300 square yards then its height is 300/15 = 20 yards
300 yards = 274.32 metres
12 inches = 1 foot 3 feet = 1 yard 1 yard = 0.000568181818 miles 300 yards is equal to 300 yards = 0.1704545454 miles (300 yards x 0.000568181818) 300 yards = 900 feet (300 yards x 3) 300 yards = 10800 inches (900 feet x 12)
to convert yards into feet, multiply the yards by three. 300 x 3=900 300 yards=900 feet.
There are 3 feet in one yard. Therefore, 300 feet is equal to 300 / 3 = 100 yards.
300 yards = 274.32 meters.
