Flags of New MexicoFlags of four countries have flown over the state of New Mexico: Spain, the Confederacy, the United States and Mexico. There have also been two state flags, with the current state flag chosen in 1920. There is a possible fifth. The Republic of Texas claimed 1/2 of New Mexico between 1836-1845. It's unknown if their flag actually ever flew over New Mexico.
The background color of the New Jersey state flag is buff gold, which symbolizes the state’s historical ties to the early colonial period. Buff was a common color for military uniforms during the American Revolution, representing the state’s heritage and its contributions to the war. Additionally, the color is meant to evoke a sense of tradition and continuity within New Jersey's identity. The flag's design reflects both the state's past and its values.

Not at all. New Mexico has a flag with yellow background and a Zia/Pueblo (from the original inhabitants of New Mexico) sun symbol on the foreground. Mexico's flag is divided into three stripes of green, white and red colors; the middle, white section has an eagle atop a cactus devouring a snake, and is a symbol from the Mexica/Aztec people.
It was adopted since 1925.
Each US State Flag will be preferred by one group or another because of symbolism, color or design, but few would deny that Arizona's is a bold splash of color while New Mexico's is simple, uncluttered and beautiful in every way.
New Century Silver is the silver/gray color on the flag. Check the helmet on the link below.
