that is correct, the vikings were in America long before anyone else, they had colonized there and became the natives...
The Declaration of Independence is adopted. Americans surround the British army in Boston. France recognizes America as independent.
Because when Columbus got here, he had the silly notion that he arrived in India, so he called them Indians. We call them the more politically correct, Native Americans, because technically, they are not from India, henceforth no Indians. They were also 'native' to this country which we call America, so they are Native Americans.

There is no “correct” order. People came from all over Europe.

It certainly is, but it isn't necessarily correct to say that they were the first, and even if they were, they're probably not the Europeans you're thinking off. The Americas were in fact discovered by the Vikings long before any English, Italian or Spanish explorers got there. But obviously, America was already inhabited by the Native Americans, so obviously early man had made his way to America even before that. Nonetheless, those European explorers you're thinking of DID discover America, they just weren't the first to do so.
That view is held by Americans. It could be correct but it could also be false depending on where you live.
Oh, dude, the native Americans didn't exactly have a gift shop of diseases to pass around to the Europeans. It was more like a unintentional exchange program where they unknowingly shared illnesses like smallpox, measles, and influenza. So, yeah, the Europeans got a few unexpected souvenirs from their travels.
That is an assumption that is not necessarily correct
