Communications have a huge enviromental impact. Listed are just some of the ways that communication can affect the environment. Computers for email, pens and pencils for wrting, television, phones and many more, all of these things are manufactured and in the process, valuable resources (water, fossil fuels etc) are used and waste created. Manufacturing contributes towards global warming and pollution. Trees are felled for paper therefore cutting down on oxygen being released into the atmosphre. The loss of trees also means that much animal life will have nowhere to live and their numbers are likely to drop. A decline may also be seen in many o the predatory animals that feed on the forest inhabitants. Polluted water dumped as waste from the maufacturing process may poison fish and other marine or freshwater life.
