They aren't known for anything, and their significance is just that they borrow a name from a famous Japanese historical figure.

Oda Nobunaga was a Daimyo who excelled at war, and had the idea for a Japan united under one ruler (himself, of course). He died before he could finish though, and his successor, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, finished the job and became the first to rule the entire country since the late 1400's.

He wasn't a swordsmith, nor were any of his swords special (for any reason other than that they belonged to such a famous person, of course), and a quick Google search shows me about a dozen different "Oda Nobunaga Katana" for sale, anywhere from $50-$600.

So basically, it would be like selling a "Schwarzenegger Shotgun" a few hundred years from now, they're just using the name so people will think it's special.
