China has 4 seasons. So the type of clothes you should bring depends on the season. For instance, if it's winter, bring winter clothing. If summer, then any normal clothes like t-shirts will do. Just ensure that the t-shirts do not have any offensive graphics or words.

Yes, you can definitely take tours on the Great Wall of China — I actually did one during my layover in Beijing, and it was an incredible experience. I joined a short guided trip similar to the “24 Layover in Beijing” itinerary from Pinerary, and it made everything super easy. The driver picked me up right from the airport and took me to the Mutianyu section of the Wall, which is beautifully restored and less crowded than some of the others. I had enough time to ride the cable car up, walk along the Wall, take photos, and just soak in the amazing views before heading back for my flight. Even with limited time, visiting the Great Wall on a guided tour was absolutely worth it — smooth, convenient, and an unforgettable way to make the most of a layover in Beijing.
