There are many people on the internet making up things that the Aztecs supposedly predicted just using the name of a respected and advanced ancient civilization for their own means and a supposed uncanny accuracy for credibility. Taking it seriously only helps them. At the end of the (Mayan)calendar which has already passed, the world was supposed to end in addition to about half a dozen times at least in the last 50 years, including 2000 causing mass hysteria amongst the handwringers, ignorant, or uninformed truth seekers. Some agents of Satan make up false theories for fun to cause a false panic. Humanity needn't worry about the end of the world at all until the Antichrist is revealed which will occur first and most likely cause it. People creating false theories who don't bother to look might very well be what destroys us all.

On a side note there has been at least a half dozen people in the last 50 years people have thought were either Christ or the Antichrist. When either is really here there will be no need for debate.

The Aztec empire montezuma was invaded and destroyed by?

The Aztec Empire, under the rule of Montezuma II, was invaded and ultimately destroyed by Spanish conquistadors led by Hernán Cortés in the early 16th century. Montezuma was taken captive, and the combination of military conquest, disease, and internal strife led to the fall of Tenochtitlán in 1521, marking the end of the Aztec Empire.

What were the Aztecs and spanish relations?

The Spanish came to South America, and the Aztecs thought that this was the 'white god' that they had been told to watch out for that specific year. They treated the Spanish Conquistadors with riches and lavish food, as they would a God. The Spanish scribes reported that they 'were sickened by the people's horrifying customs', which was referring to the sacrifice they did. Then, when the Spanish asked for more to take home with them, the Aztecs realized that they were not the 'white god' they were looking for, and turned on them. However, the Conquistadors had the horses, the guns, and they had most of the commoners of the Aztec society on their side, for they were unhappy with the way their Empire was being run. With these people and the Spanish's technology advancements, they overthrew the Aztec Empire. After the Aztecs were in the hands of the Conquistadors, the Spanish treated the Aztec people cruelly, making them as slaves and torturing them. They burned all the Aztec literature they could find, saying that it was 'the work of the devil'. In the end, the Spanish recorded their conquer of the Aztec Empire, saying that with their own little band of Catholic people, they fought the entire nation and won. But they lied, because they would have never survived without the help of the Aztec commoners. !
