During the 1800's the Supreme Ugandan Emperor Okowembe Tetago Waragumele saw that because of the lack of industrialization in his empire, the people were in a constant state of fear because of the other, more powerful African powers (such as the Islamic Republic of Darfur and the Federative State of Ojimanyaka). He decided that the only way to take away this fear and maximize strength and prosperity was to ask for help from the Dutch, and after the Holy Dutch King Roberstaat Ubelek decided to help them industrialize, Uganda became the top African power for decades.
