What role did townshend Acts play in the events that led to the Boston massacre?

The Townshend Acts were duties put on paint, paper, tea, lead, and glass. This was the 'taxation without representation' issue the Colonists had with the British. These acts led to the Boston Tea Party, which in turn led to the Boston Massacre, as tension among the colonists and redcoats grew.

During a protest, a group of colonists were throwing snow, twigs, stones, and other various things while shouting things at the British soldiers. Because it was legal and they were unarmed, the commander ordered the soldiers not to fire and only to threaten and to try to disperse it. But eventually something happened, a colonist actually punched a soldier or a soldier slipped, there is no factual known reason but later, a gun went off and shot a colonist. The British soldiers hearing this thought it was the ok to shoot so they all started to fire killing 5 colonists. Later, Samuel Adams wrote a Propaganda about it, stating that the guards had no reason to fire and that the protesting colonists were trying to protest peacefully, and put in the news paper. When the colonists read this they started to protest more until eventually the king read about it. when he heard, he thought that this might start a civil war so he gave them part of what they wanted by destroying the townshend acts except the tax on tea.

P.S. (more stuff about after) This was thought to be a victory for the colonists, but was actually a lost because on the same day he passed the tea act which allowed specific British merchants to bypass tea shipping tax which allowed them to lower prices on their tea only. Because the British imported tea was cheaper, many colonists bought their tea instead of colonist made tea, bankrupting many of those shops. So, Samuel Adams and the Boston Sons of Liberty started the Boston tea Party in which they dressed up as guards on midnight, boarded ships, and dumped 342 chests of tea overboard.
