Street art usually falls under the style called contemporary art, since it’s modern and reflects today’s culture. It’s also linked to graffiti art, because many artists use spray paint and bold designs on walls. Some people even see it as a mix of pop art and urban art, since it often shows everyday life, politics, or social issues. What makes it special is that it’s out in public, not inside galleries. So basically, street art is a creative blend that lives right on the streets.

Such is the case for Picasso's Guernica where he used aspects of Cubism (this is particularly prominent in the horse's face), but the entire piece should not be described as Cubist.
