After Hiroshima was bombed, the next target was Kokura. Because it was overcast with clouds, the bomber was directed to go to the secondary target, Nagasaki.

Answer

Several target cities were available, but none was scheduled to be bombed next that this contributor is aware of. If a third Japanese city was to be bombed, then a third bomb would have had to been prepared, as only two were sent to Tinian. The choice of a target city would have been made later, but it never came to that. Of course, Japan had to presume that Tokyo might be next.
