In 1950, Mao Zedong knew that the Peoples Republic of China required his attention to restore and enhance the basic areas of the Chinese economy:
1. Heavy industry;
2. Light industry ;and
3. Agricultural industry.
He believed that heavy industry had to be the core of China's economy, but also he knew he had to pay close attention the the other two areas. Over two thirds of China's population lived in villages that made up the agricultural sector of the economy. It lay in shambles, however, due to World War Two and the civil war within China.

Some believe that banks should be deregulated in order to grow the economy. Others believe that more regulations are required so that banks can't take advantage of customers.
I believe you have a better chance to find one real master of Qigong among overseas Chinese than in China. China is today nothing but an emerging economy.
