And the people did not like that one bit so they boarded every tea vessels and dumped the tea into the harbour. Yes, many historians believe that the Boston Tea Party took place on Griffin's Wharf, which no longer exists, but which was on Boston Harbor. The Intercontinental Hotel Boston occupies that general spot now, and you can see a plaque commemorating the event on the north side of the parking lot next to the hotel. It's located at 510 Atlantic Ave.
