Byron's mother and childhood teachers introduced him to Scotland's scenery and The Bible stories. He learned to love nature, and to look at it with wonder. He learned about humanity through the Bible, and all this, along with his passion for reading, poetry, and his propensity to reflect, helped to form the romantic writer he later became.
